King of the Hill
Lego Robot Competition:
I really enjoyed building and programming a robot and competing at the King of the Hill Competition! What are some ways we could incorporate that into our classrooms?
I will definitely be able to use the concepts used in the King of the Hill competition during SCience Olympiad this year. Robotics was a foreign thing to me before this competition. Now I feel more comfortable with designing, building, and programming a robot.
I think the principals of force, torque, and many other beginning physics concepts could be taught in a more fun and more exciting way using the mindstorms in this King of the Hill competition!
